JRO YOUTH S.E.A.L. TEAM VOLUNTEER

Throughout the country, the issue of youth/teen mischief and at-risk behavior has become an issue of great concern. Volunteering as a S.E.A.L. team leader, helps youth advance educational interest, and an effective and comprehensive investment to enhancing the success of our youth future. S.E.A.L. volunteers are individuals who desire helping youth succeed.

I.C.C. Youth S.E.A.L. Team Volunteer: Are everyday people – teachers, accountants, health care, executive professionals, active military, retirees, and stay-at-home parents. Our volunteers are committed to making a difference for youth who might otherwise be dealing with the challenges of life growth. They are highly trained and certified to guide youth through life purpose and to become productive in society.

  • S.E.A.L. Team Meetings: Are with elementary, middle, and high school students and provide insights into careers, personal development, and business. Volunteer will meet 1 day a week by online Zoom.

S.E.A.L. TEAM VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

​

Must be 21 years of age or older, effective communicator, must successfully complete certification training provided by our office. ​Be able to make a minimum commitment to mentoring youth (An average of 4 hours per month). Successfully pass screening and background check requirements.

Volunteer must be able to work with law enforcement, city or county agencies, school districts, the business community, parents, and of course the youth they are assigned to. 

Once your application is received, you will be contacted within one business week of the application submission date by our office staff, and if your application is accepted. You will receive a formal invitation to join our next round of S.E.A.L. Team Volunteer Pre-Service Training.
